Off-grid photovoltaic power generation system, also called stand-alone photovoltaic power station, is a power generation system that does not depend on the grid and operates independently, mainly consisting of solar panels, storage batteries, charge and discharge controllers, inverters and other components.
Grid-connected photovoltaic power generation system is connected to the public grid, linking solar power generation, home grid and public grid together, which is a power generation system that must rely on the existing grid to operate, mainly consisting of solar panels and inverters. The solar panels are directly converted into 220V AC by the inverter and supply power to household appliances. When the solar power generation exceeds the power used by household appliances, the excess electricity is delivered to the public grid; and when the solar power generation cannot meet the use of household appliances, it is automatically supplemented from the grid.
